Intervention Compensation System
The Intervention Compensation System (ICS) is a modular frame that provides downline management and heave compensation for our light well intervention services. It is used to deploy umbilicals and tools to the subsea well using the four guide wires and a compensated deployment sheave. It is classified as an offshore crane design and built under full DNV survey.
The ICS consists of two H-frames which can be deployed over a vessel’s moonpool or over the side/stern. The purpose of the modular frame design is to provide ease to road transport, shipping and that it can be loaded to a vessel with a single lift during mobilisation.
